Shipping policy

At Safed Jhooth, we value transparency. Because we operate on a print-on-demand model to ensure sustainable production and minimize waste, our shipping process works slightly differently than standard retail. Please read below to understand how your order reaches you.
1. Order Processing & Fulfillment
We do not hold large inventories of pre-made stock. Every piece is printed specifically for you once you place an order.
• Fulfillment Time: Please allow 2–5 business days for your order to be printed, quality-checked, and packed.
• Note: This time is in addition to the shipping time.
2. Shipping Estimates
Once your order is manufactured and handed over to our delivery partner, the estimated delivery timelines are as follows:
• Metros: 3–5 business days
• Rest of India: 5–7 business days
• Remote Areas (J&K, North East, etc.): 7–10+ business days
Please note that these are estimates. Delays due to public holidays, courier strikes, or extreme weather conditions are beyond our control.
3. Shipping Charges
• Standard Shipping: We charge a flat rate of ₹100 on all orders below ₹ 599 .
• Free Shipping: We offer FREE shipping on all orders 
4. Order Tracking
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive an email and/or SMS with a tracking number and a link to track your package. Please allow 24 hours for the tracking status to update on the courier's website.
5. Incomplete or Incorrect Addresses
We are not responsible for failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the re-shipping costs.
6. Lost or Damaged Packages
• Damaged on Arrival: If your package arrives clearly damaged, please take a photo/video before opening it and email us immediately at [Your Support Email].
• Lost in Transit: If your tracking status shows "Delivered" but you have not received it, please check with neighbors or your building security first. If it is still missing, contact us within 48 hours so we can escalate the issue with our logistics partner.
7. International Shipping
We ship internationally to select countries. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location. Please note that custom duties or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

Critical Details for You to Review
1. Fulfillment Time: I set this to 2-5 days (standard for Indian POD providers like Blinkstore or Printrove). If your vendor is faster or slower, update this number.
2. Free Shipping Threshold: Decide a number (usually ₹999 or ₹1499) to encourage people to buy two t-shirts instead of one.
3. Support Contact: Ensure you have a dedicated email or WhatsApp link ready, as POD orders often generate "Where is my order?" questions during the printing phase.
